Introducing the new Human C-reactive Protein (CRP) line

We are pleased to introduce a new product line regarding
an important predictive biomarker for future cardiovascular
events such as heart attack and stroke.

Human C-reactive protein (CRP) is an acute phase protein
produced by the liver. It is a member of the pentraxin family
of proteins with five identical nonglycosylated subunits of 206
amino acids each (m.w. 24 kDa). Among other markers of
inflammation, CRP has been shown to have the strongest
association with cardiovascular events. Clinical studies
have demonstrated that coronary mortality among patients
with unstable angina and elevated CRP is significantly higher
when compared with patients without elevated CRP. It is an
important biomarker for detecting individuals at high risk of
plaque rupture.

Our series of CRP products which include Human C-Reactive
Protein (CRP), Rabbit Anti-Human-CRP, Goat anti-Human-CRP,
and its modified conjugated antibodies, such as HRP and Biotin
products can be used to detect CRP levels that may lead to
increased risk of heart attack.
